New Year in Dubai: where to go?

New Year’s holidays are a time of bright celebrations, and where, if not in Dubai, are the most spectacular parties in the world. In the metropolis, fashionable Christmas trees are already sparkling with lights, the chefs of the best restaurants are preparing a menu of grand dinners and generous brunches. Guests of the city are waiting for New Year’s markets, stunning fireworks shows, endless beaches and the gentle winter sun. Dubai is the perfect choice for the New Year holidays.

The whole family for gifts

It’s happiness when you can spend some fun hours with the whole family at the New Year’s Bazaar, which everyone will be waiting for in December. Locals especially love the annual festive market in the Madinat Jumeirah Resort complex, similar to a Christmas market in one of the cities in Germany, where you can ride along the canals on a motor boat with Santa, ride along one of a dozen slides, and the amazing “Train to the North Pole” will take the kids to the giant snowball zone. In this huge winter wonderland, guests will also certainly see the sparkling interactive LED Christmas tree and the daily appearance of Santa Claus. Continue reading

The best abnormal places for tourists

So:

Death Valley, an abnormal area in Yakutia, which is located near the Vilyui River, in Mirny district. Local residents tell legends about mysterious objects made of metal in the form of peculiar boiler rooms, which cannot be reached. And those who are selected, then very much regret it. They say that an arch of an incomprehensible design is visible above the ground, from which allegedly the research students who were passing here could not separate a single piece, while “they felt a strange malaise.”

The mountain of the dead, “glorified” by stories related to the Dyatlov group. As in other “paranormal” places, the death of people here is explained either by UFOs, then by evil spirits, or by top-secret scientific developments. Continue reading

To Cairo: Following the Trail of the Holy Family

In recent years, the Ministry of Tourism and the Coptic Church of Egypt have been actively promoting and developing a pilgrimage tour – the route of the holy family. It is proposed to walk through the baby Jesus, Virgin Mary and Joseph, who were in Egypt for several years, hiding from King Herod. The route itself stretches from North Sinai through Cairo and its suburbs to the city of Asyut, includes 25 revered places, it will take 5-8 days to fully travel the entire route (excluding North Sinai for security reasons).

Cairo and its districts occupy a significant part of the route, it begins with a visit to the tree of the Virgin Mary in Mataria, a branchy evergreen sycamore tree, in the shadow of which the Holy Family stopped to rest. The tree is not allowed to die and shoots are constantly planted, the last time it was done in 1906. Continue reading
