The whole family for gifts
It’s happiness when you can spend some fun hours with the whole family at the New Year’s Bazaar, which everyone will be waiting for in December. Locals especially love the annual festive market in the Madinat Jumeirah Resort complex, similar to a Christmas market in one of the cities in Germany, where you can ride along the canals on a motor boat with Santa, ride along one of a dozen slides, and the amazing “Train to the North Pole” will take the kids to the giant snowball zone. In this huge winter wonderland, guests will also certainly see the sparkling interactive LED Christmas tree and the daily appearance of Santa Claus. Continue reading
The “Bride” of the Mediterranean Sea – Alexandria
During the times of “open” Egypt, Alexandria was not popular among the mass Russian tourists, mainly from the resorts of the Red Sea they came there on individual excursions for one or several days. You can get to it from the capital in three hours, if the trip is organized independently, the fare for the bus will be only $ 3. Alexandria is stretched along the coastline of the sea, and from it it sprawls deep into thousands of streets with many cafes, restaurants, shops, residential buildings, hotels from luxurious to very affordable prices. Cairo and its districts occupy a significant part of the route, it begins with a visit to the tree of the Virgin Mary in Mataria, a branchy evergreen sycamore tree, in the shadow of which the Holy Family stopped to rest. The tree is not allowed to die and shoots are constantly planted, the last time it was done in 1906. Continue reading
